Account Manager

Under the supervision of the President, the incumbent will solicit and establish new relationships with customers to transport customers' merchandise using the services of VA Inc. The ideal candidate will be distinguished by two key factors that will guarantee rapid success: solid sales experience and pre-existing and quality contacts. The individual must be motivated to produce and engage in sales growth in the Quebec region, within the company's sales budget and objectives. The incumbent is distinguished by his or her ability to create and maintain interpersonal relationships.


  • Solicit outside prospects, build a new sales pipeline, and close new business opportunities;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients;
  • Cultivate new sales leads to establish business relationships;
  • Showcasing VA Inc.'s services and enter into service agreements in a win-win manner; Responsible for obtaining and maintaining new business;
  • Ability to make phone calls and visits to clients;
  • Develop quotes to current and potential clients, in collaboration with relevant team members;
  • Update and maintain VA Inc.'s CRM; Perform analytical and logistical planning;
  • Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions;
  • Follow up on customer satisfaction as needed;
  • Achieve individual, team, and company goals;
  • Work closely with VA Inc logistics managers to ensure customers' product is transported efficiently.


  • Strong presentation, communication and closing skills;
  • Experience and skills in outside sales/territory/time management;
  • Knowledge of management and business principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources;
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes of client and personal service delivery. This includes assessing client needs, meeting service quality standards, and assessing client satisfaction.
